Elaine and family,

I was so shocked to hear about Norman's passing. I reminisced about times when we were kids and we would run when Karen said her dad was home from work. I thought about seeing him sitting on the porch at C & S , leaned back in his chair, smiling and talking to those around him. I remember "camping out" in that camper that he put in your front yard when you lived in your old house across from the Collinswood and most of all, running and screaming when Karen would chase us with that stuffed alligator he kept in your basement.

He was a good man, that's for sure, and he will be missed by many but remembered by all, including me.

I'll be down to visit you Elaine after things settle down some but am here if I can be of any help to any of you.

With affection to the family,

Carolyn Collins

I was so saddened to hear of Mr. Skeen's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. He was truly a treasure, and I will miss talking and sharing stories of business back in the day with my Dad. My love to all of you, I will surely miss hearing his happy little voice when he called and needed a title, or thought he did because he had misplaced it. What a dear sweet man.

Walter, Elaine, and family:

Please accept our heartfelt sympathies and prayers. We regret the distance between us but know that this is a time for family.
Allow me to say that for years, I’ve admired Emery greatly as a man who lived life on his own terms.

Dear Elaine, I am so very sorry to hear about Norman passing. And I am so very sorry that I could not be there for the visitation or funeral. With mom passing away the week before, and having a difficult time with the people that she rented her apartment from, I had to be there to take care of her things when I was really wanting to come and see you, Karen and the family. Please know I was thinking of you and was thankful that I had had a chance to see and talk to you and Norman the week before. God Bless, Love Cyndie
