 Maxine Robertson

      Audrey Maxine (Price) Robertson, 86, of Staunton, died on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Brightview Baldwin Park.

     She was born on December 18, 1931 in Augusta County, a daughter of the late William Hunter and Helen Frances (Anderson) Price.

       In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William Howard Robertson; and two brothers, William Hunter Price, Jr. and Lyle Thomas Price.

     Primarily a homemaker, Maxine also worked as a Nurse's Aide at King's Daughters Hospital and a Sales Associate at McCroy's and Leggett.  She was a long-time member of Second Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, Chairman of Circle Five and was a Life Member of the Presbyterian Women. 

     Survivors include two sons, Mark Anthony Robertson and Matthew Howard Robertson and wife, Denise of Staunton; two sisters, Mary Ann Clatterbaugh of Staunton and Thelma Virginia Simmons of Rockville, MD; a step-grandson, Aaron Meek; and a number of nieces and nephews. 

     A funeral service will be conducted at 11 AM on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Second Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Evan Smith.  Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. 

    The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 PM on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at the church.

Your Mom was a pure ray of sunshine. I always admired her style, a veryy classy lady. May Gods comfort be with you all over the coming weeks and holidays. Remember she is home and with her soulmate forever.
