Robert Louis Cseh

     Robert Louis Cseh, 88, of Palmyra, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at The Laurels of Charlottesville.    

     He was born on February 23, 1931, in Racine, Wisconsin, a son of the late Louis Cseh, Jr. and Ann (Chovan) Cseh.    

     Robert was a Veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army in Heidleberg, Germany from 1952 until 1954.  He was a 1955 graduate of the University of Wisconsin/Stout, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and was inducted into the Delta Kappa Fraternity.

     In 1956, he moved to Chicago, where he began his career with Western Electric and  retired from AT&T in 1989 with 33 1/2 years of service.  He was a resident of Basking Ridge, New Jersey from 1961 until 1991, where he was active with the Kiwanis as a Key Club Advisor and President.   In 1991 he became a resident of Lake Monticello where he was active in the Gray Foxes.  He was a Charter Member of Grace and Glory Lutheran Church and enjoyed golfing, watching Green Bay Packer football, and playing cards with his family and friends.   

    Survivors include his wife: Betty Jean (Worthington) Cseh; a son: Robert Thomas Cseh and daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Cahill of Washington, New Jersey; a daughter: Catherine (Cseh) Reed and his beloved son-in-law: Robert Reed, of Chichester, New Hampshire; a granddaughter, Megan Reed of Brisbane, Australia; grandson, Brian Reed of Chichester, New Hampshire; and a great-grandson, Tyler Reed of Brisbane, Australia.    

     In honoring Robert's wishes, he has been cremated and there will be no services. 

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Grace and Glory Church, 683 Thomas Jefferson Parkway, Palmyra, Virginia 22963.
