She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York on October 19, 1961 the daughter of Carmelo Garitta and the late Mary Jane (Lozier) Garitta.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother: Michael Garitta.

Went to Marlboro Middle school first then High School with Ann. She actually was the first person who took me around the school as I did not know how to speak English and very new to American school and culture. Even though I did not speak well, I knew quickly Ann was kind and also very popular in school. Sad to hear to news without meeting her up at least one more time at class reunion. Rest in peace Ann.

When one door closes, another opens wide. Heaven's gates have surely opened wide to receive Anne and reunite her with her mother, brother, and all who have gone before her.

To the Garitta and Gomola families: I pray your grief and sadness will, over time, lessen and that your faith and the wonderful memories you have of Anne and the times you shared together sustain you. God bless you all.

Love,
Cora

I am so sorry to read of Anne’s death. A wonderful person, known for her infectious smile and blue eyes, she would brighten up the hallways of Milton Elementary School as she made her way to the classrooms where she assisted as a teacher’s assistant. She was loved by children and school staff. My condolences to Ken, Joe Garita and her children. May God bless you while you grieve this wonderful woman.
