Although I didn’t really know Lloyd I remember hearing Daddy & Athel Ballowe talking about Lloyd, all was good. I remember his grandson picking Mandolin, and I also pick Mandolin, so that stood out to me as a fond memory. I know Lloyd was so proud of him playing and singing. I am sorry to hear that he has passed, prayers are with you all. God bless during this sad and difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. He was always such a quiet, kind, gentle man. Anyone who knew him would find him to be a gentleman in every way. I pray the Lord will comfort all the family at this very difficult time.

May I extend my deepest condolences to the family. When I heard of this I remembered that he was my supervisor when I worked at the old Fluvanna Camp 12. What a wonderful man and excellent supervisor. At a time when the entire staff was young and in desperate need of guidance he was there. I am sure we put him through some trying times. I carried his patience and kindness through out my 27 year career in corrections. We are blessed to have had him in our lives.

My condolences and prayers to the family. I am so sorry to hear of the death of Sergeant Ballowe. He was a very nice man. I worked with him at Virginia Correctional Center for Women. If anything on the job that he could do to help you he did it. I transferred to Lunenburg Correctional Center back in 1996 and I hadn't seen him since I left.I missed all the co-workers, Sgt Ballowe use to tell me a lot of his prison work story abd he gave me some good advice on making rank, which I did.Another good person gained his wings, he will always be Sgt. Ballowe,FOREVER REST IN PEACE🙏👼🕊⚘❤
