Agnes Loving (Bourne) Johnson

Agnes Bourne Johnson, 94 of Charlottesville, formerly of Scottsville passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, in Charlottesville.

She was born August 18, 1929, in Virginia, the daughter of the late Harold and Virgilia Bourne.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Wyatte Bourne and Harold Stanley Bourne and one sister, Ruby Bourne Cleveland.

Agnes is survived by her daughter, Ann Dansey Crenshaw (Gene), three grandchildren, Emily Dansey, Virginia Dansey and Olivia Dansey Tapscott (Matthew), one great grandson, Brantly, two great granddaughters, Maddie and Elisabeth, and numerous special nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Agnes retired from The Michie Company after many years. 

The family would like to thank her special friends, Terry Pate, Katherine Dobson and Paul Matheny.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
