Alexandria "Scott" Scottsville Ward, Jr.

Alexandria Scottsville Ward, Jr., 66, of Scottsville, died on Thursday, October 6, 2022, in Nelson County.

He was born on August 6, 1956, in Orlando, FL, a son of Roberta Frances “Frankie” (Rogers) Ward, who survives, and the late Alexandria Scottsville Ward, Sr.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Robbie Bullion, and a nephew Joey Vegas.

Scott worked in the family real estate firm with his father and was a GS-14 with the U.S. Navy.  He enjoyed playing music and traveling, especially to the beach and New Orleans, his wife’s hometown.  He was a member of the Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Survivors include his mother; his wife, Tiffany Chemin (Guerrero) Ward; two sons, Alexander Scottsville Ward, III, and Braxton Potter of Alabama; a daughter Lesley Licon-Ward “Princess Spy” of Scottsville; two sisters, Jeanette Kerlin and Katrina Morgan, both of Scottsville; his beloved dogs, Katie-Scarlett, Coco Chanel, and Patrick the Pug “Bear”; and his cat Simba.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home by Pastor Jim Dorton.  Burial will follow in Scottsville Cemetery.

There will be no viewing or visitation.
