After being honorably discharged, he had success as a long time employee of the Fluvanna County School System. His tireless work ethic and skill in numerous trades served him well as a Maintenance Supervisor and in his true passion, farming.
In his leisure, Junior and Peggy enjoyed square dancing and were founding members of the Fluvanna Flutterwheels Square Dance Club. He proudly volunteered in the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla of Lake Monticello. He also enjoyed boating, fishing, camping and was a member of Wesley' Chapel United Methodist Church.
Junior’s family would like to thank Hospice of the Piedmont for their wonderful care of Dad. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Piedmont or Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery Fund.
