Anita Sue (Farmer) Johnson, 59, of Buckingham, died on Friday, February 17, 2023 at her home.
She was born on May 18, 1963 in Albemarle County, a daughter of the late James Wesley Farmer and Mary Ann (Sink) Drumheller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas “Ray” Johnson; grandmother, Gladys Earhart; brother, Kenneth “Duane” Farmer; sister, Kathryn Collier; and aunt, Brenda Lamonds.
Anita was the most caring person. She loved music and dancing, her Mustang with the “Nita Sue” tag on display, watching them Cowboys play some football, and working in her flower beds. She was very devoted to her family.
Survivors include two daughters Cassidy Thomas (Brian) of Gordonsville and Bridget Johnson (Adam) of Buckingham; five grandchildren, Tyler, Nathaniel, Jacob, Kylie and Justin; brother Anthony Farmer, sister-in-law Joanne Farmer; nieces, Becky, Rachel, Missy, and Kimberly; nephews, Darin, Donnie, Kenny, Christopher, and Anthony; aunts, Faye (David), Goldie (Thomas); and many more family and friends who love and miss her dearly.
She leaves behind many broken hearts upon her departure. They know she is in heaven along with the many loved ones that welcomed her.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on February 26, 2023 at the VFW in Scottsville, 2977 W River Rd, Scottsville, VA 24590.
