Anna Nicole Nicholas, 40, of Dillwyn, after a long battle with numerous health issues, peacefully passed into heaven on April 3, 2021.  She is survived by her parents, Dennis and Maureen Nicholas; her sister, Stephanie Nicholas; her brother, Sean Ferris; her dog, Ash; numerous aunts, uncles, and many, many cousins.

Residing in Dillwyn, VA, Anna graduated from VA Tech in 2007.  Anna helped her parents run a small business and started her own company to supply ecologically friendly supplies to other businesses and institutions.  As a strong advocate for improving adult literacy, Anna helped tutor multiple students.  She loved to try new recipes, read hundreds of books, and always had a beautiful smile.  She loved to share jokes and music with her friends and family.   She was a nature enthusiast, growing flowers to help save the bees and provide a nurturing space for monarch butterflies.  Anna always found the beauty in others and showed kindness to all.
