Betty Lou (Patterson) Baber

Betty Lou (Patterson) Baber, 81, of Scottsville, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 5, 2022, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 24, 1941, to the late Herman Lewis and Virginia Louise (Pierce) Patterson, in Scottsville, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Tucker Baber.

Survivors include her two daughters, Vicky Davis and her husband, Greg and Sherry Wood and her husband, Tom; four grandchildren, Sara Philipp and her husband, Matt, Jeremy Wood and his wife, Alison, Daniel Davis and his wife Kristen, and Hunter Davis and his wife, Lauren; five great grandchildren, Carter, Jackson, Landrie, Izabel Ann, Grayson and Grant, all of Scottsville; a brother, Jerry Patterson and his wife, Carol of Anaconda, Montana; several nieces and nephews; along with a host of extended family members and friends.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the wonderful caregivers, along with the staff at the Hospice of the Piedmont for all of the love and care that Mrs. Baber received.  

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Scottsville Cemetery with a special friend, Mr. Pete Banton officiating.

There will be no viewing or visitation.
