Carlton Ray Cook, 66, of Scottsville died on Friday, July 29, 2022, surrounded by dear friends at their Schuyler residence.
He was born on March 6, 1956, in Indianola, MS, a son of Evelyn Allen Cook and the late Hiram Bolling Cook.
Carlton served in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing, and was a great storyteller.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers and a sister, Kenneth Michael Cook of Powhatan, Douglas Lee Cook of Scottsville, and Karen Cook Mitchell of Powhatan; his second family, Jason and Sharonda Foley and their daughters, Abigail and Lillian; his fiancé, Shelby Morris; a number of nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at Scottsville Cemetery.
