Catrina Coles Barbour, 44, of Morning Valley Baptist Church, gained her wings the morn of Wednesday March 18, 2026, at her home in Fluvanna County.
Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, Catrina lived as a spontaneous individual with a fire in her soul that could never be extinguished. Always forward to speaking her mind, Catrina was never shy to go for what she wanted. She created and poured her heart into a beautiful family and was solid in maintaining an established career. With her infectious gap tooth smile, like no other, Catrina reached so many souls and changed so many lives.
Met at heaven's gates by her late father (James Coles) and sister (April Coles), Catrina lives through her husband, Matthew Barbour, and three daughters, Sierra, T'Keyah, and Mariah. In love she is remembered through her mother (Margie Coles), younger sister (Jessica Coles), Aunts (Quin Rush and Barbara Shaw), Uncles, and a host of nieces and nephews. Catrina's spirit has moved on to be with the Lord, but her love will never leave.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral home with Pastor Sheldon Page officiating.
