Connie Brown Tibbs

Connie Brown Tibbs passed away peacefully on July 7, 2026, at the age of 69. She will be remembered for her loving heart, generous spirit, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Connie's greatest joy was being "Graw" to her beloved grandsons, Bentley and Jace. She rarely missed an opportunity to cheer them on from the sidelines as they played baseball, taking immense pride in every game, every hit, and every accomplishment. Watching them grow and celebrating their successes brought her immeasurable happiness.

Some of Connie's favorite days were those spent making special memories with the boys and their friends—whether it was a trip to the bowling alley, an afternoon at Jump, a movie outing, or any adventure they dreamed up. She found pure joy in their laughter and loved creating moments they would treasure for years to come.

Her first grandchild, Raelynn, held a very special place in “Gam Mommy’s” heart. The bond they shared was filled with unconditional love, and Raelynn cherished having a grandma who was always present—showing up, cheering her on, and doing everything she could to support and care for her. Connie's greatest gift to her grandchildren was not only the memories she created, but the unwavering love, encouragement, and devotion she poured into each of them every day.

Bentley, Jace, and Raelynn were truly the light of Connie's life, and the love she gave them will remain in their hearts forever.

Connie is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Gary Tibbs; her daughters, Ginger Allen and her husband, Jeremy, and Patricia Dale; her father, Les Brown; her brother, Steve Brown and his wife, Sandra; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Billy Tibbs; her mother, Arline “Skippy” Brown; and her brother, David Brown.

Connie's kindness, strength, and unconditional love touched countless lives. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy will live on through the family she cherished and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.

A memorial service to celebrate Connie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Goshen Baptist Church in Howardsville.
