Donny Lynn Sprouse

Donny Lynn Sprouse, Sr., 62, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at his home.

He was born on June 22, 1960 in Charlottesville, a son of Margaret Jaunita (Reynolds) Sprouse and the late William Harvey Sprouse.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee “Bobby” Sprouse.

A very hard worker, Donny was a painter and arborist for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping anyone in need.  He lived life to the fullest!

Survivors include his mother; a sister, Teresa Yvonne Anderson and her partner Virgil Glenn Grinstead of NC; two sons, Donny Sprouse Jr. of Scottsville and Travis William Sprouse of FL; a brother William Harvey “Nenu” Sprouse, Jr. and “Sissy” Shifflett of Scottsville; a number of grandchildren; Dana Capps of Troy; and someone dear to his heart, Theresa Breeden of Scottsville.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home.
