Dorianne Shuart-Plouff, 65, of Palmyra, passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Suffirn County, New York on October 29, 1955, a daughter of the late Ruth William and Harold Shuart.
Dorianne proudly served in the United States Navy for two years. She had an Associates Degree in Education and Special Needs Education. She worked as a bartender at the Tavern on the James. Dorianne was very crafty and creative. She greatly enjoyed sewing, coloring, and crocheting. She will be remembered for her faith, kindness, and generosity towards others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Groves; friend’s children, Tiffanie Malanie and Ryan Lee.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kathryn Loucks (Bradley) of Vero Beach, Florida and Ted Jason Plouff (Candy) of Partlow, Virginia and her children: Sarah, Casey, and Jacob Moreland; siblings: Richard Shuart (Barbara) of Napel, Florida, Harold Shuart (Deborah) of Covington, Virginia, Robert Shuart of Florida, Kathy Shuart (Wayne Erby) of Ocala, Florida, and James Harold Shuart (Sandy) of Inverness, Florida; grandchildren: Braxton Daniel Decaro, Ade Jones, and Azia Tenner-Loucks; companion, Daniel Clancy; dear friends and their families: Crystal Carpenter (Cary) of Scottsville: Simon Paul, Joel Palmer, and Ashley Michelle; Catherine Church (Steven) of Scottsville, Sierra Maire; as well as extended family, God Children, and friends.
A celebration of life service will be conducted on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at The Carpenter ’s residence, 329 Shores Rd., Palmyra, Virginia.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville, Virginia.
