Duane “Boo” Alexander Bradley
On May 25, 2024, our beloved father, son, brother and friend to many, departed his earthly home and joined our heavenly father.
Duane Alexander Bradley (48), known affectionately to family and friends as “Boo”, was born October 6, 1975 to the late Evelven “Skippy” Bradley and Patricia (Wells) Bradley and resided in Fluvanna County.
Duane was a graduate of Fluvanna County High School. He became a correctional officer at Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women, where he worked for 9 years. He then followed his love for trucks and became a truck driver for 18 years. He found his home with Walmart 9 years ago, where he remained until his passing.
His love for trucks was driven by a mutual love for auto mechanics that he shared with his father. He was a jack of all trades that included being a barber for family and friends. Duane was a kind and generous person with a heart of gold. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. His wonderful sense of humor was accompanied by his well-known and infectious laughter to everyone around him. He was a humble man who worked hard and whose love for his family was immeasurable. His passing has left an unfillable gap in the hearts of his loved ones.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his grandmother, Ruth (Mills) Wells, mother, Patricia (Wells) Bradley, one daughter Nakia Mosley, special devoted friend, Latoya Mosley, one sister, Patrice (Bradley) Simpson (Jelani), eight aunts, Cathy Wells, Melinda Creasy, Brenda Brice (Guy), Cindy Johnson (Johnny), Gloria Hubert, Dorothy Neal (Isaac), Christine Tompkins, Rosa Brent (Starr), five uncles, Thomas Wells, Jr., David Wells, Mark Wells, Walter Bradley, Jr. (Phyllis), William Bradley (Valeria), two nieces, Ayana Simpson, Malaya Simpson and one nephew, Zayden Simpson, and a host of cousins, friends and coworkers and very special cousins James Creasy, Jr. “JC”, Maurice Banks, and George Morton, Jr. “Boo”
There will be no public viewing.
