Fred Mariutto

Fred Mariutto, 78, of Lake Monticello,VA, passed away on January 5, 2021 in University of Virginia Medical Center

Fred was born in the Bronx, NY to Ferruccio and Anna Mariutto on May 29, 1942. He attended Aviation Trade High School in New York City.  He married Diana Scott on September 7, 1968 at St. Francis of Rome Catholic Church in Bronx, NY.   He worked as a Terrazzo Mechanic and then a Gas Construction Foreman for Con Edison for 35 years.  He was a veteran and served in the Army.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents Ferruccio and Anna Mariutto. 

Fred is survived by his wife, Diana; his son, Craig and wife,Kaitlin Mariutto, son, Thomas and wife, Jennifer Mariutto; grandchildren: Anna, Emily and William Mariutto; brother, William and wife, Joan Mariutto.

A memorial mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4309 Thomas Jefferson Pkwy, Palmyra, VA.

Memorials donations may be given to Lake Monticello Volunteer Fire and Rescue, 10 Slice Rd. Palmyra, VA 22963.
