Obituary
Geraldine Marie (Tanks) Wells, 84, of Troy, passed into the hands of the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home.
She was born on May 29, 1938 in Virginia, a daughter of the late Stanley Tanks and Louotis Richardson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Unga Wells; three children, Michael, Robin, and Donald Wells; her step-father, Otis Richardson; and a number of siblings.
Throughout her life, Geraldine enjoyed traveling, attending Sunday church worship, visiting with good friends, and listening to gospel music.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Carter (Steve) of Nevada; and a host of additional family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Union Run Baptist Church in Keswick. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The viewing will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
