They moved to the Northern Virginia area and spent 31 years there until moving to Scottsville, Virginia in 1991.
Grace worked as a medical secretary and receptionist until her retirement. She was very active in education, volunteering, the Girl Scouts and various athletic organizations. Since her retirement, she enjoyed her time as a library volunteer in Scottsville, Virginia, a member of St. George Catholic Church and a volunteer with Bread of Life.
Grace loved to travel, camp in the Shenandoah mountains and take annual trips to Ocean City, Maryland. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, playing games with her grandchildren and spending time with her friends playing bingo at The Independence in Charlottesville. Grace was generous and honest. Above all, she devoted her life to what gave her the greatest joy — her loving family.
