Howard Grayson Drumheller, 79, of Palmyra, died on Sunday, April 9, 2023, in Charlottesville.
He was born on April 26, 1943, in Charlottesville, a son of the late Nannie Elizabeth (Manley) and William Adam Drumheller, Sr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Swanson and Dorothy Harlow.
Howard worked as a Water Plant Operator for Buckingham County and Lake Monticello. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his garden.
Survivors include his wife, Ida Ruth (Bryant) Drumheller; two sons, Wesley Grayson Drumheller (Teresa), and Jeffrey Scott Drumheller; two brothers, Waddell Drumheller (Vickie), and William Drumheller; one sister, Betty Butler; two grandchildren, Dylan Scot Drumheller and Amanda Jean Freitas, two step-grandchildren, Skyler Payne and Whitney Carter; one great-grandson, Wesley Thomas Drumheller; three step-great-grandchildren, Lacee Breanne Davis, Cash Michael Davis, and Harleen Dawn Page, and a special niece, Melissa Butler.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Bruce Goldsmith.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home.
