James “Jimmy” Marshall Bryant, age 69, of Charlottesville, passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021. Jimmy was born December 27, 1951 in Stoney Point, VA to the late George M. and Eunice W. Bryant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, MaLinda Faye Bryant Barrett; two sisters, Peggy Shifflett and Betty Wooten; and two brothers, Robert “Bob” Bryant and William “Billy” Bryant.
Jimmy is survived by his fiancee, Judy Babe Randolph; step-daughter, Toby Reaves and her husband, Dion; siblings, Harry Bryant and his wife, Gail, Donald Watson and his wife, Anne, Charles Bryant, Sally Emma Bryant, Jacqueline Moses, and Elizabeth Bryant Woodson; grandchildren, James Turtle Barrett and Ashley Nicole Barrett; special former sister-in-law, Shirley Powell Payne; numerous nieces and nephews three very special friends, Billy Smith, Paul Brown, and Sandra Childress; and his canine companion, Dash Bones.
Jimmy worked for Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Charlottesville, VA for 47 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed old car shows and road trips. He never met a stranger. Jimmy will be missed by many and loved by all.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
