James Napolean “Nip” Chisholm, 81, of Scottsville, died on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 in Charlottesville.
He was born on February 7, 1943, a son of the late James Napolean Chisholm, Sr. and Lucille (Flannery) Chisholm.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Jean “Bo” (Chapman) Chisholm; a daughter, Kimberly Lucille Chisholm; a sister, Delores Ann Hook; and a brother, Hugh David Chisholm.
Mr. Chisholm and his wife owned and operated the Luv’N Oven and Wonderland Video in Scottsville.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Lee Chisholm and James Darrell Chisholm; a special family member, Lisa Stayments (Ron) of Fluvanna; 11 grandchildren, including a very devoted granddaughter, Jassy Chisholm; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenneth Carroll Chisholm (Melissa) of Bumpass; and a sister, Rita Chisholm Pace and Brad DeTuncq of Charlottesville.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home by Lindsay Ellis, Minister of Cherry Avenue Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Chisholm-Bishop-Taylor Family Cemetery in Woodridge.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024, at the funeral home.
