John Edward Napier "Uncle Bean" Snap"

John Edward Napier  “Snap” “Uncle Bean”, 60, of Scottsville, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at University Of Virginia Hospital.

He was born, August 24, 1963, a son of Edith Irene Ballowe and the late Mintry Edward Napier.

John was also preceded in death by his step-father, Loyd Ballowe.

In addition to his mother, John is survived by three sisters Cheryl Napier, Diane Jamerson (Tony), and Joyce Banton (John) all of Scottsville;  three aunts, Gracie, Marie, and Frances; four nieces, Lisa, Jennier, Christina, and Rebecca; three nephews, Lee, DJ, and Bradley; and numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is also survived by his special companions, his dogs, BoBo and Lukey.

John was employed at Tapscott Brothers for over 30 years and they were like family to him.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November, 12, 2023 at Scottsville Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Tyree officiating.
