Joshua Lee Moneymaker, 35, of Scottsville passed away on February 5, 2024.
Joshua was born on January 27, 1989, a son of Teresa Moneymaker.
Joshua was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bobby Moneymaker and his paternal grandparents, Cecil and Doris Gardner.
In addition to his mother, Joshua is survived by his two daughters, Valerie and Aryanna Moneymaker; two brothers, Corey Gormous and wife Asia and their children Scarlett and Evelyn; and Alex Gormous; his maternal grandmother Faye Moneymaker; a special friend, Nikki Swanson and his beloved dog Rotten.
Josh loved a good time. He was the life of the party and could make anyone laugh. He love his music and every song for Josh had a true meaning behind it. He loved adventure. He love to go to the river, he loved to fish. That's where you could find him during the summer with his baby girl. He was the go to man for making a big camp fire. He loved camping. He had a green thumb and was passionate about his growing. He took pride in doing everything right no matter what it was, he put his heart and soul into whatever he did.
Josh was one of the hardest working people you could have ever met. He loved his family and would always be the first to help anyone, stranger or not. Josh had a personality and wit that we will never forget.
A special thank you to his aunt and uncle Ronnie and Linda Shifflett and children. A special thank you to some of his closest friends. Forever 35.
