Josie Harmon Obituary

     Josie Ann Harmon of Scottsville, VA, passed away on August 2, 2020 at her home. 

      She is survived by her parents Charlotte Harmon and Robert L. Harmon, Sr; her siblings, Robert Harmon Jr., Kansas Lamb and her boyfriend James Wood and their son Brody Wood;  three children, Alexander Harmon and his daughter Aurora Tucker; daughter Victoria Morris and her husband Adam Morris and their children, Michael Campbell, Chevelle Morris, Daryl Morris, Cheyenne Morris, Dixie Morris, Jean Morris, and John Morris; her youngest son Donald Shifflet and his wife Hailey Shifflet and their son Waylon Shifflet.

      Josie also leaves behind her cousins Danyell Bryant and her husband Glen Bryant, and their children, Lester, Dallas and Haley Wyatt, George and Burt Harmon, and Tonya Fisher and her husband Billy Fisher, Charlotte Roberts and her husband John Roberts and their children. She has seven surviving uncles, Henry and his wife Cathy Harmon, Joseph Harmon and his wife Theresa Harmon and their sons Dylan, Brandon and Dustin; Danny Harmon and his wife Julie Harmon, Arthur Harmon and his wife Margaret Harmon, Joe Harmon and his wife, John Harmon and his wife Pauline, William and his late wife Linda, Jessie Harmon and his wife, Theresa; an aunt, Phyllis McCauley; the father of her son, James Shifflet,; her boyfriend Rocky Deane and his children, Marcy Deane and her son, Carri Walton and her children, Wesley Shaver, Henry Shaver, Rocky Deane Jr. and his children; and Tonya Hammack who were all very special to her. Josie will be missed by her niece, Destiney Wood and her nephews Seth Wood, Chevy Wood, and Henry Morris, his wife, Niki and their daughter, Tempy; as well as many other friends and family.

      She was preceded in death by her grandparents Catherine and John Harmon; and Maggie and John Harmon; her husband Michael Campbell; her uncles John L. Harmon Jr. and Robert McCauley.

     There will be no public viewing and a private graveside service will be held at Alberene Cemetery.
