Judith Ann (Sprouse) Williams, 79, of Scottsville, died on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at her home.
She was born on December 8, 1945, in Charlottesville, a daughter of the late Early Emmett and Rosezetta (Collier) Sprouse.
Judy loved being with family and especially enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, attending their sporting events. She loved her woodstove in the fall and winter, and working outside in her flowerbeds and garden, and canning vegetables in the spring and summer. She was a member of the Scottsville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and served as Vice-President. Judy worked for the Carter family at Redlands Farm for many years.
Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, James S. Williams, Sr.; a son, James S. Williams, Jr. (Laura); a daughter, Wanda Davidson; seven grandchildren, Kyle Williams, Abigail McClurken, William McClurken (Heather), Allen E. McDaniel, Courtney Overholtz (Justin); Thomas Morris (MaKayla), and William Ledger; and ten greatgrandchildren, Kayla, Jayden, Alainia, William, Joshua, Amirah, Alycia, Faith, Altas, and Ember.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home.
