Laverne Lee Obituary

Laverne Eloise Lee, 70, passed away peacefully at the UVA Transitional Care Hospital on Sunday, March 7, 2021.

Peggy, as she was affectionately known, was born on November 8, 1950. Peggy was a lifelong resident of Schuyler, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Esmont.

Peggy is survived by three sons, Roderick B. Lee, Anthony L. Lee, and Eric L. Lee; four sisters, two brothers; 10 grandkids and numerous relatives. She was preceded in death by one sister; and three brothers.

The family will hold a private memorial service in her honor. Those wishing to view the service may do so by visiting Thacker Brothers Funeral Homes Facebook Page at 2pm on Friday, March 12, 2021. Arrangements have been entrusted to Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville.
