Linda Jean (Kittle) Shumaker

Linda Jean (Kittle) Shumaker, 76, of Palmyra, Va, passed away on Friday December 8, 2023, in Charlottesville, VA.

Linda was born on October 8, 1947, in Scranton, PA, a daughter of the late Oscar and Helen (Baker) Kittle

In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by a sister, Rose Kittle Lambert.

After high school and college Linda went on to work with special needs students for the Lincolnton School District in Lincolnton North Carolina. She went on to move to Palmyra, Virginia where she settled in and took care of her family and home.

Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Shumaker; Daughter, Dena Shumaker; two sons Robert and Jason Shumaker; two brothers, William, and Thomas Kittle; and sister, Ellen Kittle Amy.
