Lisa Barnes Thacker

Lisa Barnes Thacker, 55, of Scottsville, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

She was born on March 19, 1967, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Middlebrook) Barnes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father in-law, Sam Thacker.

Lisa was a faithful and very active member of the Potters House Church in Scottsville and had a heart of gold! Caring, giving and loving would all be understatements. Her strong faith in God was admirable. She enjoyed spending time with her family and helping others every chance that she got. To know Lisa was to love Lisa.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Allan Thacker; two sons, Josh and Tyler Thacker, both of Scottsville; two brothers, Lloyd (Thelma) and Wayne (Kristy), also of Scottsville; her mother in-law, Joy Thacker; a sister in-law, Nancy Hicks (Robbie) of Scottsville; six nephews, Johnnie, Mike, Caleb, Peter, Ryan and Sam; three nieces, Angie, Maryann and Laura; along with a host of great nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home at 3:00 PM. Burial will follow at Scottsville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM. Pastor Randy Golladay will officiate the service.
