Lucy Carroll Worrell

Lucy Carroll Worrell, 61, of Howardsville passed away on March 27, 2025, at her home with her loving family by her side.

She was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on February 6, 1964, to the late Robert and Mary Carroll.

Ms. Worrell was known for her love of crafting. Whether painting her home, crocheting or drawing she was always busy. Her greatest love was her family. Spending time with her loving husband, her girls and grandchildren gave her great joy. Annual trips to the Great Smoky Mountains were something she looked forward to. She loved to go during Christmas time to see the Christmas light display.

Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Cheyenne Worrell; three daughters, Kimberly Taylor (Andrew), Amanda Hawk and Ashley Marker (Blayne); eleven grandchildren, Haylie Hucks, Alexander Hucks, Breanna Chittum, Daniel Taylor, Dylan Maxey, Mason Hawk, Annalee Hawk, Hunter Hawk, Andrew Marker, Tyler Marker, and Ethan Marker; sister, Debbie Edwards; brother, Jimmy Carroll.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Glenmore Community Church Cemetery, 7988 Howardsville Rd. Howardsville VA 24562 with Pastor Russell Snoddy presiding.
