     Margaret Anne "Peggy" (Kozloski) Burgess, 55, of Palmyra, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville. She was surrounded by all three of her daughters. 

     She was born on December 6, 1963, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Dunn) Kozloski.

     Peggy was a pillar of strength, a fiercely loyal friend, and was always quick to grin. She spent time at the Community College of Philadelphia before becoming a full time mother to her children. She moved to Lake Monticello in 1996 and was an enthusiastic member of Effort Baptist Church. 

     She is survived by her husband: Doug; her daughters: Christina, Becky, and Valerie; as well as her siblings: Karen, Albert, and Tommy. She was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren.

     A memorial service will be held Wednesday, October 23 at 2:00 pm at Effort Baptist Church, 7820 Thomas Jefferson Parkway Palmyra, VA, 22963. All are invited to arrive and spend time with the family starting at 1:00 pm.

     Her family extends their deepest gratitude to everyone who cared for Peggy during her lifetime and helped her live a full and happy life.
