Mary Lee Hogg

Mary Lee Hogg, 80, of Lake Monticello, died on Monday, November 4, 2024, in Charlottesville.

She was born on September 19, 1944, in Alexandria, daughter of the late Thomas Perry Carter, Jr. and Betty Lee (Miller) Carter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas (Tim) Perry Carter, III.

As a dedicated servant of Jehovah, Mary Lee was a volunteer Bible educator. She was also an accomplished watercolorist. Her green thumb was obvious by her lush flower garden and house plants.

Survivors include her husband, Andrew Logan Hogg, Jr.; daughter, Allison Adams (David); son Andrew Logan Hogg III (Catherina); and brother Michael Carter (Alison).

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Palmyra.

Burial in Culpeper National Cemetery will be private
