Michael Marshall Obituary

Michael “Bizcuits” Vincent Marshall passed away in his home on Friday, October 14th, 2022.

The second son of Vince and Janet Marshall. Michael was born in Prince George County, Maryland and raised in the Shenandoah Valley although his heart always remained in Buckingham County.

He is preceded in death by two special mentors, Steve Shirts and Dave Gotschall.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his Grandmother Doris Dungan of Williamsport, MD; two brothers, Nicholas Isaac and Steven Thomas; a niece, Abigail Grace; and his Sister of Choice Gwynn Aldridge.  Along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, Michael’s loving presence will especially be missed by his Front Royal family and his beloved dog, Diesel.

Michael was a kind, thoughtful, and prepared surveyor who worked at NXL in Richmond for nearly a decade. He loved his job, and his Boy Scout training in childhood instilled a love for being outdoors and an appreciation for planning ahead. When going out to survey land, he would bring a bag filled with survival and First Aid equipment just in case he or a coworker may need it.

A celebration of life will take place at Browns Chapel Church, 1711 Gravel Hill Road, Dillwyn, VA 23936 on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 12 PM with Pastor Stewart Brittain officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be mailed to Boy Scout Troop 52. Front Royal United Methodist Church, 1 West Main Street, Front Royal VA 22630.
