Mildred Maupin Harlow, 91, of Charlottesville, died on Thursday, June 3, 2026, at Albemarle Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born on September 4, 1934, in Albemarle County, a daughter of the late Percy Linwood and Bessie Elizabeth (Jones) Maupin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Coleman Vincent Harlow, Sr., her son Glenn Allen Harlow, brothers Hunter Maupin and Jessie Maupin and sister Virgie Maupin.
Mrs. Harlow was a cafeteria worker for Albemarle County Public Schools, a seamstress for J. Estes Sewing Factory, and babysat children during retirement.
Survivors include a son, Coleman Vincent Harlow, Jr. of Appomattox; a daughter Barbra Harlow of Kentucky; grandchildren Robert Shifflett of Earlysville; Brandy Sapp of Farmville; David Allen Harlow of Bedford; Cory Garlic of Kentucky; Chris Garlic of Kentucky; and Wesley Garlic of Kentucky.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at Riverview Cemetery in Charlottesville with Pastor David Morris officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home.
