Mona Louise Schmitt

Mona Louise Schmitt (Bauer), 86, of Palmyra passed away on April 19, 2025, at Commonwealth Senior Living.

Mona, a native of Brooklyn, New York, was born on December 3, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine (Fitzgerald) Bauer.

Mona was a devoted wife to Daniel for 68 years and a loving mother to her 3 girls. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Mona leaves behind her loving husband, Daniel Schmitt; their three daughters, Susan, Carole and Valerie, as well as two beloved granddaughters, Julie and Krista.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on April 24th at St.'s Peter and Paul Cemetery, 4245 Thomas Jefferson Parkway Palmyra VA 22963.
