Nancy Elizabeth Brown

Nancy Elizabeth Brown of Lake Monticello in Palmyra, Va. passed away in her home on Tuesday
morning, July 11, 2023 of a rare cancer with family by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred W. Brown; parents, Kenneth and Alice Russell; and two siblings, Mel and Craig Russell.

Nancy leaves behind 3 daughters, Dreama Collins of Hopewell, Va., Lucinda Baxter (Don) of Palmyra and her youngest daughter, Jeri-Jo Blue (Brian) of Carson, Va.; two siblings, Kathie Volante of Florida and Kenneth Russell Jr of Virginia; four grandchildren, Christina Coburn, Shawn (Christian) Collins, Michelle Baxter, and Alisha Cross; three great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A visitation with the family in which to share memories and support will be held on Friday, July 28th,2023 between 1:00 and 3:00 PM at Mount Eagle Baptist Church located at 2419 Buck Island Rd, Charlottesville, VA 22902 followed by a memorial service on Saturday July 29th, 2023 at 2:00PM.
