Obituary

    Nancy Lee (Taylor) Catlett, of Scottsville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 24, 2022, in Charlottesville.

She was born on August 17, 1939, a daughter of the late Harmon Wade and Maddie (Odenhall) Taylor.

In addition to her parents, preceding her in death is her devoted husband of 54 years; James David Catlett.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved flowers and spending time outdoors. She was a huge UVA sports fan and had a passion for antiques. To know Nancy was to love Nancy. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.

Survivors include two sons, James David “Jay” Catlett (Tracy) and Jarrett Catlett (Vickie), all of Scottsville; three grandchildren, Morgan, Walker and Bryston Catlett; a sister, Pat Johnson (Elwood) of Charlottesville; a nephew, Steve Johnson (Pam); along with a host of extended family members and friends whom she loved dearly.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 29, 2022, at the Scottsville Cemetery with Pastor Randy Golladay officiating.
