Patricia Banton Robertson

Patricia Banton Robertson passed away on March 18, 2025, with her loving husband and family by her side.  She was born on June 13, 1957, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and was pre-deceased by her father and mother, Hubert and Lucy Ripley Banton and a brother, Pete Banton.

Pat is survived by her husband of 28 years, Andrew Robertson; two sons, Darrell Robertson (Lisa), Keith Robertson (Maureen); two grandchildren, Garrett and Haden Robertson; two siblings, Connie Tillman (Warren) and John Banton (Joyce); a nephew, Bradley Banton; sister-in-law, Norma Banton; and two brothers-in-law, James and Blake Robertson.  She had a special bond with Carolyn Toms, a friend who stuck by her through every battle she faced.  A special thanks to her cousin, Hazel O’Brien who provided nursing care for her. 

Pat was employed by Martha Jefferson Hospital for 33 years before retiring in August of 2022.  She developed many lasting friendships while employed there.

Pat was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she faithfully served the Lord and cherished her church family who supported her and prayed for her.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Price and Rev. Tom Lambelet officiating.  Burial will follow in the Scottsville Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday March 21, 2025, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
