Patricia "Patsy" Simmers Critzer

Mrs. Patricia “Patsy” Critzer passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Scottsville, VA.

Patricia was born December 2, 1940 in Rockingham, VA to the late Howard and Leona (Detamore) Simmers.

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by a sister, Brenda (Simmers) Critzer and a brother, Leon “Buck” Simmers.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Thomas Critzer; three children, Keith Edward (Jamie), Teresa Critzer Lee (Calvin), Mark St Clair Critzer; two sisters, Sandra Wilberger and Linda Smith (Harold); grandchildren, Amber, Brandi, Thomas, Rebecca, Justin, Michaela, and Grace; great-granddaughter, Corinne (her girl); great-grandson, Nathan (her boy); and fourteen more great-grandchildren that were very close to her heart. A host of family of friends will miss Patsy dearly.

A private memorial service for the family will be planned at a later date. Thacker Brothers Scottsville Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
