Obituary
Robert Edward Marshall, Jr., 61, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA.
Robert was born on April 30, 1961 In Albemarle County, a son of Robert Edward Marshall, Sr. and the late Mary Louise Marshall (Deane).
In addition to his mother, Robert was preceded in death by his eldest brother, Parron Richard Faircloth, Jr.
Robert absolutely loved music, and he daily called into 3WV (97.5 FM). He was a friend to everyone, and Robert never knew a stranger! He often went by “Mad Dog” on the CB and was quite the personality on the air.
In addition to his father, Robert is survived by his brother Steve Faircloth (Rosemary) of North Garden; his sisters Karen Wilkerson (Frankie) of Schuyler and Julia McCauley of Dillwyn ; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, family and friends that will dearly miss his presence.
Robert’s family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
