Ronald Reardon Obituary

Ronald Irwin Reardon, 53, of Palmyra, was welcomed into heaven's gates on Thursday, March 10, 2022.

He was born on November 16, 1968, a son of the late Elizabeth Inez (Maupin) Reardon and is survived by his father Edwin Burley Reardon (Mary), whom he loved dearly and they dearly loved him.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by an identical twin brother, Donald Willard Reardon.

Ron was the owner of RIR Electrical. He attended CATEC to later earn his Master Electrician license. Doug Easton was instrumental in helping Ron get his business up and running. He remained a lifetime friend. Danny Bishop, Robbie Roberts, Brian Cavello you meant the world to him. He could always count on your help with anything.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his two daughters, Olivia and Karlie Reardon. Three sisters, Wanda Breeden (John), Sherry Parmly (Paul Jr), and Leslie Mann (Kevin). A brother, Danny Reardon. Three step sisters, Kim Haislip (Wally), Karla Waycaster (Wesley), and Kelly Stanley (Bobby). He is also survived by numerous family-nieces and nephews that adored him-Maycie, Dawson, Ensley-wonderful friends, his best fishing partner, Hollie Brookman, and a special four legged companion, Chloe who never left his side.

Ron was a talented soul who never met a stranger. He was gifted with personality and a heart of gold. The outdoors was his happy place whether it was fishing, hunting, or riding four wheelers with his girls. He loved to cook and would never hesitate sharing a meal. Cape Charles was paradise for him. Being on the water brought him and Chloe joy, peace, and adventure. Our family farm inspired him to grow his own garden, plant his own fruit trees. Nothing was better than waking up at the crack of dawn to go sit in a tree stand there. Wait out the big buck or the sistas as he would call them. Homemade sausage and deer jerky was his thing. He loved the process. Ron loved music. He could really sing. When he belted out Conway Twitty he could really bring in a room full. His sense of humor was always on point. He could make a dog laugh. He would go the extra mile for anyone. If Ron knew you he cared for you. Peace…Ron “ITS ON”. Your peace is now protected. You can finally chase Don through the streets of heaven. Momma can time y'all. Nannie can iron your underwear again. Catch up with Billy, Steve, and Bayram.

We love you more than you will ever know and we are beyond proud of the legacy you have left behind. Until we meet again son/brother/father/uncle/friend, rest! Ron had so many friends. Special hunting friends. Special fishing friends. We don’t want to leave anyone out. Just know that you all are in our hearts and we know you are in his. Thank you for your friendships through the years. Special memories that we can treasure forever.
