Shirley Adcock Obituary
With sadness, love, and profound gratitude, the family of Shirley Mae Adcock, 81, announces her passing on March 15, 2024.
Shirley is survived by her sister Mildred (Roger) Houchens and brother Douglas Gorham of Schuyler, Virginia, daughters Debra (Larry) Sanford, and Michelle (Rodney) Brooks of Scottsville, Virginia. Nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents Thomas D. Gorham and Estelle G. Gorham, brother Charles L. Gorham, son Franklin H. Adcock Jr, grandson William L Sanford III, nieces Tammy Gorham and Angel Smith, nephew Douglas Gorham and her love of almost three decades, Royal Lee Paschall.
Family and friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Shirley at Thacker Brothers Funeral home in Scottsville Virginia on March 29, 2024. The visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm. The family will have a private burial following the visitation.
