Shirley Anne Phillips, 83, of Lake Monticello went to Heaven peacefully on March 11, 2026.
Shirley (aka Sherry) was born on December 11, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA. She was the daughter of the late John and Florence Drum.
In addition to her parents, Sherry was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Phillips.
Sherry worked as a custodian at Abington Senior High School in Abington, PA. Sherry was also a homemaker, wife, and mother. Sherry enjoyed drawing, painting, and “being one of the girls”. Sherry enjoyed lots of laughs while talking on the phone with her dear friends and relatives. Sherry also enjoyed planning and hosting cookouts throughout her life. Sherry shared wonderful stories about her childhood with her children and grandchildren. Sherry would greet everyone with a “Hiya, how are you doing?”.
Survivors include her children, Carol Phillips of Glenside, PA; Edward (wife Megan) Phillips of Palmyra, VA; and Dawn Phillips of Hatboro, PA; her grandchildren, Michael Dunleavy of Cinnaminson, NJ, Sarah, Kylie, and Colin Phillips of Palmyra, VA; her siblings and their families John (wife Linda) Drum of Torrance, CA; and Maureen (husband Jay) Thorn of Grenloch, NJ.
Services will be private.
