Timothy Kevin Mays

Timothy Kevin Mays, 64, of Scottsville, Virginia, passed away at his residence on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

He was born on Wednesday, November 19, 1958, in Alleghany, Virginia, a son of Nancy Dame Mays and the late Robert Winfred Mays.

Timothy worked for over 20 years for CSX Transportation as a railroad conductor. He loved fishing and hunting but most enjoyed being at home and spending time with his two grandchildren. His family will fondly remember how kind, loving, and strong-willed he was.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sons Joel and Daniel Mays; two grandchildren Raylan and Marin Mays; three brothers, Stephen (Wanda) Mays, Rob (Tammi) Mays, and Bruce Mays.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, June 16,2023 at Thacker Brothers Funeral Home in Scottsville.
