William John Hopkins, 71, of Palmyra, died on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at his home.
He was born on December 14, 1954, in Hutchinson, Kansas, a son of the late Daniel and Grace (Haug) Hopkins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel James “Jimmy” Hopkins.
Mr. Hopkins worked as a manager with Penske Truck Leasing in New Jersey and Massachusetts. He found great enjoyment riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles with his wife, Sandy. Bill served as an E.M.T. and volunteer fire fighter with departments in Fork Union, VA, and Haverhill, MA.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Sandra Louise “Sandy” (DeRosa) Hopkins; a nephew, James “J.R.” Hopkins; and two nieces, Jaclyn Tillsley, and Jennifer Hopkins.
Services will be held at a later date.
