Winfred Rudolph Wyant, Jr., 79, of Scottsville, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, in Charlottesville.
He was born December 21, 1944, in Charlottesville, the son of the late Winfred Rudolph Wyant, Sr., and Elizabeth Morris Wyant.
Winfred is survived by his wife of 49 years, Paula Crawford Wyant; three daughters, Tina Breeden (Tony), Lisa Wyant, and Nicole Collier (James); two step-children, Rae Morris (Shannon) and Lisa Easton (Larry); nine grandchildren, Adam Breeden, Matthew Breeden, Hannah Breeden, Kaitlyn Wyant, Daniel Helmes, Sarah Collier, Autumn Collier, Noah Morris and Cameron Morris; two great grandchildren, Bentley Abel and Cooper Helmes; one brother, Wade Wyant; and two sisters, Peggy Dettor (Jimmy) and Barbara Roach.
Winfred was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Scottsville and was a construction worker with Wyant Construction.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor David Morris officiating.
Interment will follow in Scottsville Cemetery.
